Your 100 Day Prayer: Day 26 – The Little Things

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God,  Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. -Luke 12:6-7

When you think about these verses, that the very hairs (even though there may not be as many as there used to be) are numbered, doesn’t it make you realize just how much God cares about us and every “little thing” in our lives?

“He’s (God) obviously aware of every thought we have and every motive behind every thought (1 Chron. 28:9b), so we might as well come clean with him and just tell him everything. Let God in on the little irritations, the little problems, and even the little dreams that occupy our minds. He not only care about them, he actually has the power to do something about them.”

TODAY’S PRAYER: Ask the Creator of all things for a sweeping change in perspective. Come to see everything (literally every last thing) in your life as having importance to God. Lift before him the very small as well as the very great.
