Weekly Invite – 23 September
This Sunday, Pastor John will be preaching on “Sola Scriptura: Is What You Believe the Gospel Truth?” Scriptures we’ll be considering are Psalm 119:105 and 2 Timothy 3:14-17. We will also be looking at the questions: What if you discovered that much of what you believe about God, Jesus, and salvation has very little to do with the Bible and a lot more to do with popular trends, modern culture, and ancient pagan philosophy? Would you be alarmed?
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE: SUNDAY, 1 OCTOBER, from 15:00 hrs onwards, in lieu of our regular worship service, we’ll be joining our host church, Christuskirche, in welcoming their new pastor.

Our First Thursday PM Worship Band Rehearsal will be on 12 October from 18:30 hrs to 20:00 hrs. All musicians (all ages) who’d like to attend, please let Sarah or Stephanie know.
Coffee and Conversations: Our next meeting will be Wednesday, 4 October, from 10:00 – 12:00 noon.
Fall Weekend Retreat: Munich Christian Fellowship invites SF to join them for a weekend retreat at Berghof Agatharied from Friday, 29 September to Sunday, 1 October. A friend of 40 years of Pastor Ken and Marilyn Blake, Floyd McCallum, will be the excellent speaker for the retreat. The cost for the weekend: €90 for a single and €200 per family. Please let us know if you plan on attending. We need to know the number of people going to the church retreat so we can let the hosts know how many to prepare for from SF.
Starnberg Fellowship’s 10 Year Anniversary Celebration will be held on 19 November. We are putting together a team for this exciting event celebrating God’s faithfulness to us. Please let us know if you’d like to help. Thanks!
