This Sunday, Will Powell continues with our study on 1 John.
Fifth Sunday of the Month Event — Walk Along the Maisinger Schlucht – Sunday, 29 July: We’ll meet at 10:30 a.m. at the carpark by the Wasserwerk on Maisinger Schlucht Strasse in Söcking. We will depart at 11:00 a.m. and then walk along the Maisinger Schlucht – a very pretty river walk up to the Maisinger See. The walk is about an hour each way and we’ll stop for lunch at the Maisinger Seehof, a delightful little beer garden on the edge of the lake. For those of you who can’t walk the hour, you may drive to the beer garden directly – it’s at the end of Seestrasse in Maising. We’ll see you there about 12:30. If you plan on attending, please let Mike Page know [[email protected] or 0176 2211 4951], so that we’ll wait for you at the carpark. If you’re later than 11:00 a.m., you can meet us at the lake. Prayer and Bible Study Group meets on Tuesdays!
SUMMER SCHEDULE BEGINS 5 AUGUST! We will meet for Bible study in the Sanctuary of Christuskirche at 16:00 hrs.
Mark your calendars for our Coffee and Conversation Morning this Fall, 10 October; 7 November, 5 December, from 10:00-12:00hrs at Christuskirche, Ammerseestraße 15 in Gauting. Children are welcome!
Important: Planning Ahead for our Christmas Pageant and Birthday Party for Jesus: Let us know if you can help with our Christmas Pageant, 16 December, or if your children would like to be a part of it. This will help us as we choose a Pageant to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Opportunities to Serve at Starnberg Fellowship
-Daily prayer for the ministry of the church.
-Children’s Message for special services (3 minutes). Contact Pastor John.
-Set up and clean up for our events.
-Help with clean up following worship.
-Assist with Sunday school and other programs for youth and children. Contact Sharon Page for children and Sarah and Stephanie for youth.
-Provide refreshments for coffee/tea time and other events.
