Weekly Invite – 11 September
Prayer & Bible Study – We will meet from 10:00 – 10:45 hrs. Pastor John Snyder will be discussing points from his sermon. Bring your Bibles and join us for study and a time of prayer. Please note the change of time.
Worship – 11:00 hrs. Pastor John Snyder will be preaching on An Unfailing Faith. Scriptures we will be looking at are James 1:1-18.

Brunch: Please bring sandwiches 8-10 people to share. More details to follow!
Open Mike: For all you wonderful singers, young or less young, we’re looking forward to hearing you!
Expats Flea Market – 11 September!
What is it? As many are here for just a short while, this is an opportunity to get to know others as well as get some deals on much needed items. Call it a rummage sale, garage sale, yard sale, or flea market – it’s the same idea. You don’t have to attend SF to take part in this event. Invite a friend!
When: 11 September, 12:30 – 16:00 hrs (Set up from 12:00 hrs onwards)
Charge: €10 per table
Still not too late to donate to Starnberg Fellowship’s table: Books, toys, gently used clothing, household items, etc., and baked goods. For large sale items, please bring photos we can display.
Profits go towards Werner and Janice Lehnis’ ministry Care in Action and SF Music Program.
Combined Retreat Weekend with Munich Christian Fellowship, next weekend, 16-18 September, at Berghof Agatharied www.berghof-agatharied.de. Address: Berg 112, 83734 Hausham – Guest speaker Andrew Page (not a relative of the Pages) will be leading us on a study of Philippians. Cost: €90 for a single person, €200 per family, regardless of number of children. The price includes accommodation and all meals. Bed linen must be provided by the guests. Accommodation is in 2 or 4 bedded rooms with bathroom for the most part. Children’s lessons/childcare will be available up to Middle School (8. Klasse). Older teens will be in the main sessions. Reservations being taken now. Please see attached schedule for this great event.
Sunday, 18 September: For those unable to attend the retreat, there will be a regular worship service here in Starnberg. Pastor Snyder will continue his sermon series on the book of James.
For September only, Men’s Group will meet the third Thursday of the month, 15 September at 19:00 hrs at Hofbräukeller. Regular first Thursday of the month meetings will resume on 6 October.

16-18 September – Retreat at Berghof Agatharied (For those unable to attend the retreat, there will be a regular worship service here in Starnberg. Pastor Snyder will be preaching.)
