This is the motto for the Expat in the City Fair that will take place on 6 March 2016 at the BMW Welt München, Am Olympiapark 2, 80809 München!
What is the Expat in the City Fair?
It is a one-day experience with information and inspiration for all internationals living in Munich. The people and businesses at the fair can help you make life in Munich easier and—equally important—more fun! Your questions about topics such as finances, insurances, education, daycare, expat life, job search and fun things to do in the Munich area can all be answered at the fair—all in one day and all under one roof! A program full of workshops, expert talks and entertainment will ensure that you leave the fair with all the information you need—and the inspiration to enjoy life in Munich to the fullest!
At the fair you will also find plenty of opportunities to meet and mingle with other expats during the workshops, expert talks, speed-dating or in the Biergarten, listening to music from the international sister-duo band, Deer Park Avenue. Deer Park Avenue are winners of Hard Rock Cafe’s Battle of the Bands, Washington DC.
The extensive program includes workshops on job search, improv acting, learning a language and yoga for kids and expert talks to learn more about getting a degree in Germany, the schooling system in Germany or how to do your taxes.
Dr. John Snyder, author of the highly acclaimed, Your 100 Day Prayer: The Transforming Power of Actively Waiting on God, (Harper Collins/Thomas Nelson), speaker, and currently pastor of Starnberg Fellowship, an international community church, will be speaking on “Culture Shock: Living Your Best Life in Munich.” Living in a new country can be fun, exciting—and very daunting! In this seminar, Dr. Snyder talks through the various stages of culture shock and gives practical advice on getting the best out of your new life in one of the world’s most exciting cities—Munich.
